What are Maison Melts?

Maison Melts are luxurious candle refills made from vegan, biodegradable rapeseed wax, offering a sustainable and clean way to repurpose your favorite candles.

The Maison Melts come in a recyclable pouch with a handy pouring cap.

Maison Melts are available in three delicious scents and are of top European quality, ensuring a luxurious experience at an affordable price.

How many candles can I fill with one package of Maison Melts?

One pack of Maison Melts contains 500ml of vegan, biodegradable rapeseed wax. For comparison, the average candle in the store contains approximately 190ml of wax. With one pack of Maison Melts you can fill up to 2.5 candle holders, or make a large 500ml candle once.

Our Maison Melts offer an economical and environmentally friendly choice for reusing your candle holders.

How do I use Maison Melts?

1) Bring water to the boil in a saucepan.

2) Place the closed Maison Melt in the boiling water.

3) Let the wax melt completely. (average 10-12 minutes)

4) Carefully open the pouch and pour the melted wax into your candle container.

5) Allow the wax to cool and harden completely before lighting the candle.

How did Bougie Rallumée® come into being?

Bougie Rallumée® was born out of frustration with the traditional candle industry. The problem that many people encountered was that they often bought expensive and beautiful candles, but once the candle had burned down, you were left with an empty candle holder that you could no longer use. This created unnecessary waste and wasted beautiful containers.

The founders of Bougie Rallumée® saw an opportunity for a more sustainable and user-friendly product. They came up with a solution: Maison Melts. These are luxury candle refills that come in recyclable pouches with a handy pouring cap. You can melt this wax in boiling water and then easily refill your empty candle holder. This way you don't have to buy new candles, but you can enjoy your favorite scent and holder, time and time again.
